Stop #4: The Pumphouse

We believe irrigation is probably the most important job in any container nursery.

We have invested in a solid irrigation infrastructure. We pump out of several ponds and we have several pumphouses.

We have it set up a little different than most: we have a pressurized system, liquid feed fertilization and we inject a low rate of chlorine to control disease in irrigation water which has reduced our field spraying by 50%.
